Dr. Neil Thomas manages our Facebook and Twitter accounts and John D. Boswell, John Suarez & Rev. Dr. Pat Langlois team up on our Table Project, which is similar to Facebook, only private.

GIVE US YOUR FEEDBACK!  We welcome your suggestions, corrections, questions, etc.  You can post those directly on our Check-In Page (located under the “Watch Us” dropdown menu from the top horizontal menu bar) or send a private email to JD Sebastian at sebastian AT mccla DOT org  Perhaps you might be able to volunteer in someway.  Our website is built on WordPress–do you have expertise in this area?  Other areas?

Helpful Tips

Enlarge Everything!!

Here’s a tip to enhance your entire Internet experience… go ahead and give it a try!

  • Windows PCs: Ctrl-+ to enlarge everything [hold down the control key (bottom-left of your keyboard) and press the plus/equal key (upper-right on your keyboard).  You can keep pressing the plus key (while holding down the Control key) until the website fills your screen, or until the text is large enough for you to comfortably read it.  To zoom back out, use Ctrl- – (minus key)
  • Mac/Apple: Cmd-+ to enlarge everything [hold down the Command (Apple) key (bottom-left of your keyboard) and press the plus/equal key (upper-right on your keyboard).  You can keep pressing the plus key (while holding down the Command key) until the website fills your screen, or until the text is large enough for you to comfortably read it.  To zoom back out, use Command- – (minus key)

Try Different Browsers

Usually every browser will view and interact with our website adequately, if not perfectly.  One thing we’ve noticed, however, is that sometimes one of the main browsers out there will not properly respond to links to our downloadable PDF files (such as the Sunday worship service bulletins).  It’s usually either Firefox or Google Chrome that will take turns not responding well to our PDF links.  If you ever run into that, try a different browser: they’re all free, and they all have slightly different feels and features.

Update your Adobe Flash & Java

If you are enjoying our videos, live or archived, you’ll experience them best if you keep your Adobe Flash Player and Java updated.

Watch Live Broadcasts from your Computer

  • Each Sunday our home page reveals a small black video box which reveals a large “play” button at the center of it whenever we are broadcasting live (which we do every Sunday for our 60-minute 9am Liturgical Service and our 90-minute 11am & 1:30pm Celebration Services.  If for some reason you don’t see this black video box on the home page, simply press one of the two “Watch Us” links on the homepage, or the “Live Broadcast” link under the “Watch Us” main menu item.

Watch Live Broadcasts from your iPhone or iPad

  • If you are visiting MCCLA.org on an iPad or iPhone you can’t watch our live broadcasts directly with the MCCLA.org website, but you definitely can enjoy our broadcasts by downloading the free Ustream App to your iPhone and/or iPad.  Open your Ustream App on your iPhone/iPad anytime during our live broadcasts (we go “on air” 5-10 minutes before each service).  Click on search and type “MCCLA Live”  The first “hit” from your search will have a red box around it:  This is our live broadcast!  We hope you enjoy it!
