Come my people,
Come my people,
Come my people,
Enter into the Glory of the Lord!
(repeat 3x)

We come from all around the world
to let our voice be heard,
Celebrate our lives,
As we let our light shine,
in the presence of the Lord.
The God we Adore,
Lift up holy hands,
As united we sing my people,
Sing my people,
Sing my people

Enter into the glory of the Lord!
My people,
Sing my people,
Sing my people,
Enter into the glory of the Lord!

We come in humble gratitude
to those who came before us
and who paved the way
and helped us see we are all a family!

And now we rejoice ‘cuz we believe
Ain’t no mountain, ain’t no sea
That can keep the truth from us
We are loved!

I'm so thankful for mccla, how about you? I love it!
I can come to church, here, I can be an openly gay man,
I can be an openly straight person, I can be an openly lesbian, I can be...
Come Just As You Are! Amen!

You know what I love about that song?
That song (Come My People) was written by an out, lesbian woman,
singing about Jesus! Amen? Amen? Singing about God Almighty!
You know, I'm just so thankful for this place, I mean,
Reverend Neil's sermon really inspired me:
I just want to be more pasionate about my belief in Christ,
my belief in God, amen, that I can share that with those
who have been maybe thrown out of the church, or something like that,
and a lot of us know how that feels!
But they can come to this place just as they are,
and God's arms are wide enough to just engulf them all.
I love that!
