Getting Married? Why not get married at the church that started it all?
Metropolitan Community Church Los Angeles was the first church in the nation to perform same-sex holy unions more than forty years ago.
Today we perform same-sex and opposite-sex religious weddings.
MCCLA is proud to officiate at such services, however, until marriage equality is achieved in California we shall not be signing marriage licenses issued by the state. We will be glad to talk with you about how to make your opposite-sex religious wedding legal in the state of California.

Our Location and Facilities
Location
We are located in the beautiful Los Feliz Village area of Hollywood, California, on the corner of Franklin and Kenmore Avenues between Normandie and Vermont.
Our Facilities
Sanctuary: Our warm and inviting sanctuary seats 160 guests comfortably with the ability to accommodate additional seating.
Stained glass windows and pews bring a special ambiance into this church, welcoming you down the aisle.

Reception Hall: If you choose a onsite reception, our hall will accommodate you and your guests for either a sit down dinner or a cake reception. Our kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, heating trays and stands, an upright piano, and nursery for your guests with children, this is a comfortable space to celebrate your big day.

- Sanctuary $500 (includes clean-up)
- Sound $100
- Pianist $100
- Soloist $100
- Reception Hall $300 (use of kitchen provided)
- Officiant $400 (Our licensed and ordained minister’s fee includes pre-planning meetings, service preparation, ceremony, certificate. Additional fees will be required for rehearsals and off-site weddings/holy unions).
Free parking
The Complete Church Package $1400 (Sanctuary, Sound, Pianist, Soloist, Reception Hall, Officiant). Deposits are required. All fees must be paid in full before the wedding day.

Officiants
You may ask for any of our ordained clergy to perform your ceremony. You will be put in touch with them after you speak with our office manager, Loui Sgastume at (323) 669-3434.
We would be delighted to offer you referrals for additional services (cake, music, flowers, photography, and more)
