Worship Technology Team

Founders MCCLA’s ministry reaches far beyond the walls of the sanctuary, in fact, our worship services are seen by people literally all over the world. To make this happen, our Worship Technology Team ensures that the sound, lighting, audio-visual as well as our recording of the service runs smoothly and professionally for a complete worship experience at home and on the web.

Chuck Phelan is the coordinator of this ministry, managing the schedule of the volunteer worship technology staff members for Sunday’s three worship services.  He can be reached at chuck AT mccla DOT org

Currently available positions are:

  • PowerPoint Operator (runs slide show during the service, such as the words to the songs)
  • SoundBoard Operator (runs live sound and monitors/adjusts broadcast sound)
  • PowerPoint/Soundboard Operator (combines the above two positions)
  • Tricaster Operator (operates the three robotic video cameras from a computer console in the soundboard area)
  • Tricaster/PowerPoint Operator (Some people really enjoy multitasking, but also benefit from being able to control the PowerPoint slide show with the movement and setting of the cameras)
